The IMImobile company founded in 2000 which is based in London provides the software and services which allow the enterprises and the organizations to stay constantly in touch with the clients through interactive channels, including social networks, message exchange and a voice communication.

History

2020: Cisco purchased IMImobile

At the beginning of December, 2020 Cisco announced purchase of IMImobile at the price of 595 pence counting on one stock of the British IT company. The total cost of the transaction is $730 million, including debts of the sold developer of cloud solutions for customer interaction.

After completion of acquisition Cisco will be able to offer the companies of end users of the solution for continuous interaction management with clients and also for customer service quality improvement.

Cisco purchased the developer of services for communication of the companies and clients in social networks and messengers

IMImobile service package under the name "Interaction Management with Clients" (CIM), automates, manages and monitors interactions with the diverse server systems. It saves time and reduces costs for the companies, allowing to be connected to clients on devices at their choice.

The solution Webex Contact Center of Cisco in combination with the software and services of IMImobile will allow to propose to users a new solution which differs in the following characteristics:

  • Intellectuality: use of AI on all way of customer interaction.

  • Kontekstnost: providing data on the client necessary for interaction personalisation.

  • Joint work: expansion of opportunities of interaction with employees for quality improvement of customer service by 10 times.

  • Omnichannel: customer relation on their preferable channel - a text, social or voice method (from start of cooperation to the conclusion of the transaction).

  • Programmability: providing to business an opportunity to manage workflows and to personalize process of work with the client.[1]
