Cisco purchased at the beginning of 2016 Synata private company whose technology will increase efficiency of search of working spaces ("rooms") and content in business service for Cisco Spark joint work.

Cisco Spark functions in Cisco Collaboration cloud, allowing users to meet and communicate by means of messages and calls with anyone, when necessary and anywhere. Continuing to improve Cisco Spark and developing new features, for 2015 the division of Cisco Collaboration strengthened the position of this product in the market.

The Synata technology gives to users the chance at the same time to execute search of stationary and cloud applicaions from one platform. The search technology developed by Synata is compatible to the unique method of end-to-end enciphering applied in Cisco Spark in a cloud therefore it will be difficult to revaluate advantage of joining of specialists of Synata to our collective. Give preference in the cloud developments and Cisco, and Synata to the technologies providing to customers full control over data and providing their confidentiality. Adding of search functionality of Synata will allow to bring possibilities of Cisco Spark to new level. Upon completion of integration customers will be able quickly and safely to find the most relevant information. Joint work remains one of priority tasks of Cisco.

Acquisition of Synata company continues a series of successful absorption in this area (we will call, for example, such companies as Collaborate.com, Assemblage, Tropo and Acano). Together we will be able to accelerate developments in the field of cloud computing and joint work.
