Owners
GetCourse is a service for selling and conducting online trainings. Founded in 2014, the cloud platform GetCourse allows its customers to create, deliver, promote and sell their own educational content. By July 2021, more than 20 thousand schools, instructors, trainers and bloggers use the service to create their own online business and manage it. The platform allows users to launch educational projects by selling pre-recorded lessons or lessons in real time, and solve related leadership generation problems.
The service is integrated with payment systems and popular social networks. GetCourse offers customers built-in customer relationship management (CRM) and analytics tools, as well as its own educational projects.

2020: Revenue - $0.6 billion
GetCourse's revenue in 2020 amounted to $0.6 billion, and by the end of 2021 it expects an increase in the figure to $1 billion, which will put GetCourse on a par with such global industry leaders as Kajabi (turnover of $1.5 billion) and Thinkific ($0.3 billion), the Winter Capital Partners fund said.
History
2025: Exit of "VIM Investments" from capital
At the end of September 2025, it became known that the management company VIM Investments sold its stake in the Russian EdTech platform GetCourse, completely withdrawing from its capital. The buyer of the asset was the company "Investtekhtsentr," the amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
VIM Investments (formerly VTB Capital Asset Management) manages several Pre-IPO funds. In 2020, VTB Capital Pre-iPiO Fund, which received a 20.6% stake in this company, entered the capital of GetCourse. In 2021, the fund sold part of the package in GetCourse to a consortium of Goldman Sachs, Baring Vostok, Winter Capital.
Since 2022, the share of VIM Investments in the GetCourse structure has been 17.12%. After the new transaction, this package was transferred to the disposal of Investtechcenter, which as of the beginning of October 2025 is the largest co-owner of GetCourse.
The company "Investtekhtsentr" was created in June 2025. Its owners are Internet University (44.7%) and Tatyana Korobova (55.3%). In turn, the Internet University is 100% a subsidiary of Get Course. Korobova is also associated with Get Course: for several years she held the post of general director at Marketplace Getkurs (the new name is Info Connect). Thus, the stake in VIM Investments was bought by a company directly related to Get Course itself.
According to the Audit-IT.ru service, in addition to Investtechcenter, the co-owners of Get Course (Sistema Getkurs LLC) are Akorn LLC (15.35%), Cyprus Greum Limited (11.9%), Sergey Mikhailov (9.38%), Luxembourg Vest Strit EMS Dukat Partners, SLP (9.31%), etc. The GetCourse platform combines a set of functional modules for creating online courses, designing websites, marketing and selling content, as well as email services and end-to-end analytics tools.[1]
2021: Raising $50 million in investments, including from Winter Capital Partners
On July 22, 2021, the Winter Capital Partners fund, whose key investor is billionaire Vladimir Potanin, announced its investment in the online educational platform GetCourse. According to the results of the funding round, which was also attended by Baring Vostok and Goldman Sachs, the startup raised a total of $50 million.
It is not reported where GetCourse will send the funds received, as well as the share of investors in the project.
Winter Capital Partners invests in technology companies in healthcare, education financial and consumer services. In total, the fund manages assets worth more than $1 billion (by July 2021). Baring Vostok has invested more than $3.7 billion in 87 projects in. Russia Among them -, and Ozon ivi many others.[2]
