History

2021: Accenture bought Bentext

In early September 2021, Accenture announced the purchase of Benext. The company does not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

As part of the deal, about 160 highly qualified specialists of the company will join OCTO Technology, which has already been part of Accenture since 2017, and will more broadly expand the European and global capabilities of Accenture Cloud First. OCTO Technology is a technology consulting company specializing in digital transformation and software development. The OCTO team is mainly based in France, and also works in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Accenture acquired Bentext

With a $3 billion investment for the next 3 years, Accenture Cloud First has 77,000 cloud professionals with significant cloud computing expertise, industry cloud solutions, and ecosystem and asset partner capabilities to help customers benefit from cloud solutions quickly and efficiently. Over the past 24 months, Accenture has made a number of strategic investments to expand and improve its Cloud First capabilities. In France, recent acquisitions include Linkbynet, Gekko and Cirruseo.

The representative of Accenture France & Benelux, Olivier Girard, noted:
