2021: Accenture Interactive Acquisition
Accenture On August 19, 2021, the company announced the acquisition of Openmind - located Italy in an agency with competencies in the field of cloudy platforms. Openmind implements a multidisciplinary consulting approach in the fields of,, commerce content strategy, experience design and technology. The acquisition is expected to expand the capabilities of Accenture Interactive and improve the quality of customers in several industries - primarily in the fashion and luxury goods markets. The deal was the first acquisition Accenture Interactive in Italy.
The pandemic spurred the Italian fashion industry to quickly move to e-commerce and online sales. The sector now expects to see double-digit growth in the next three years. This will require a new digital experience based on data and focused on people, using connected platforms and cloud technologies, according to Accenture.
Openmind as part of Accenture Interactive will offer customers a strategy and assistance in implementing personalized commerce on various platforms, including Adobe, Salesforce and SAP, as well as help satisfy customers' ambitions to enter international markets through the Accenture global network.
Approximately 110 Openmind employees will join Accenture Interactive in Italy.
