2021: Accenture bought Cygni
At the end of March 2021, Accenture announced the acquisition of the developer of cloud solutions for government agencies Cygni. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Having experience in various industries - from communications to utilities, as well as in the implementation of digital projects for the government of the country, Cygni helps some of the most famous brands in Sweden and the Netherlands carry out digital transformation. Cygni intends to further expand the global capabilities of Accenture Cloud First. Cygni employs about 190 full-stack developers who provide a wide range of IT consulting services and services to implement the entire stack of technologies, including server-free and cloud-based ones, according to the company's website.[1]
The Accenture Cloud First group brings together 70,000 cloud specialists around the world, $3 billion will be invested in its development in the next three years.
