History
2020: Accenture purchased ESR Labs
At the beginning of April, 2020 Accenture announced ESR Labs acquisition that to strengthen the positions as the developer and integrator of automobile software.
ESR Labs develops software, "sewn up" in automobile electronic control units. In the company more than 130 programmers and program architects are engaged in writing of such code. All of them will pass into Accenture.
ESR Labs will join division of Accenture Industry X.0 within which the digital technologies helping to improve design, development and production of products and services and also operation of industrial facilities develop.
ESR Labs will add two other German companies which were purchased by Accenture earlier and are attached to Industry X.0. One of them — consulting company Zielpuls which together with ESR Labs will develop mobile services for car makers and smart network solutions for medical, industrial and the IT equipment.
Production companies need to deliver the software in a basis of the business. They also should implement and develop "the culture of the net developer" just as it happens in the technology companies. ESR Labs will give us a fine opportunity to help our clients to accelerate implementation of the plans — the managing director of Accenture Industry X.0 in Germany Andrew Smith said.[1] |
