ClearEdge is an American company specializing in managing procurement costs, in particular, it helps customers manage their digital transformation costs using their own solutions. ClearEdge services include credit arm management, software asset management, contract risk management, third-party cost optimization, transaction management, and lower maintenance costs.

2021: Accenture bought ClearEdge
In mid-November 2021, Accenture acquired the creator of the procurement management platform ClearEdge. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
Led by Jack Garrahan, co-founder and chief executive officer, ClearEdge offers its own methodologies, solutions, and deep knowledge of information technology and software asset cost management. These capabilities, combined with the Accenture SynOps platform, will provide Accenture with access to more analytics tools, as well as the expertise customers need to reduce costs and get better results from existing IT investments.
The executive director of Accenture Operations, Manish Sharma, noted that the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the introduction of digital technologies, organizations are at a turning point when sustainable growth will be determined by those who quickly create value and maximize the return on investment in IT.
As part of the deal, about 100 ClearEdge specialists will join Accenture Operations.
