LEXTA

Founded in 2003, the German company LEXTA provides customers with consulting services related to IT procurement, cost optimization, security, and cloud technology. LEXTA is a member of the Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) and has offices in Berlin, London, Vienna and Zurich. 2021: Accenture bought LEXTA

In early August 2021, Accenture acquired a consulting company specializing in helping businesses with LEXTA IT purchases. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

As part of the deal, a team of 60 LEXTA professionals will join Accenture's technology strategy and consulting group.

Frédéric Brunier, Head of Technology Strategies and Consulting at Accenture in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Russia, noted that LEXTA's focus on comprehensive analysis will allow Accenture customers to determine the value of cloud technologies. Through a combination of LEXTA data analysis capabilities and Accenture's technology advisory skills, companies will jointly develop offerings to provide information resources and benchmarking to ultimately realize new value to common customers.

LEXTA's capabilities are expected to effectively complement the Accenture ZBx program, which extends the traditional zero-base budgeting (ZBB) approach to align priorities across the organization, identify savings opportunities, and reinvest released funds into a technological transformation of the business.^[1]
