2021: Accenture bought Core Compete

In early April 2021, Accenture announced the acquisition of Core Compete, a cloud analytics company. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Accenture acquired Core Compete

The Core Compete team consists of more than 260 professionals who will join Accenture Applied Intelligence upon completion of the deal. Together, the team will continue to help customers shape and implement their cloud data and artificial intelligence strategies to increase business value.

By engaging a highly qualified team of data science, data engineering, and cloud engineering consultants, most of whom have the skills to work with all major cloud service providers, Core Compete is well positioned to meet significant market needs. Accenture research shows that two-thirds of senior executives plan to increase AI spending, and more than 60% will invest more in cloud technology.^[1]
