Gekko is the French consulting company and the supplier of the managed services helping the organizations to implement cloud computing. As a cloud platform Gekko offers the clients Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Gekko command consists approximately of 100 engineers, the majority of whom certificates of AWS have (by the beginning of June, 2020). And Gekko — the status AWS Solution Provider which is appropriated to the partners reselling AWS services to end customers.

2020: Accenture purchased Gekko
On June 2, 2020 Accenture announced completion of the transaction on acquisition of Gekko which it was announced on April 20, 2020. Terms of transaction are not disclosed.
From the moment of the foundation in 2015 Gekko helped more than 80 clients, including some largest French companies, with development, implementation and supports of the flexible, connected and reliable cloud infrastructure.
Acquisition of Gekko will strengthen leader positions of Accenture in the field of cloud computing and artificial intelligence, will expand its current relations with key technology providers, including partners in ecosystems, such as Amazon, Google and Microsoft and also will expand competences of division of Accenture AWS Business Group (AABG) of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, contains in the statement of Accenture.
In division of AABG of Accenture company as of the beginning of June, 2020 over 8 thousand specialists trained in implementation of AWS services which have in the general complexity of 5.5 thousand certificates worldwide work.
According to our development strategy, acquisition of Gekko will become one more important step as will facilitate customer move in public clouds.
