2021: Cisco Bought Socio Labs

The publication notes that by absorbing Socio Labs, Cisco continues to work to increase the share of software sales and subscriptions in its business. Cisco believes that the development of a startup will make it easier for customers to organize not only Internet, but also hybrid events in which virtual content is combined with live presentations.

By May 2021, Socio Labs clients include Google, Microsoft and Stanford University. In its history, which began in 2016, the company attracted a total of $6.7 million in investments. It is planned to close the sale of Socio Labs by mid-2021.[1]
