In the middle of March, 2020 it became known that Hilton uses virtual reality, showing to the employees work of cleaners in hope to cause in them sympathy for service staff.

The Oculus company which developed VR headsets which are used by Hilton told how thousands of corporate employees for the last 18 months used VR to learn what to work as the cleaner or the employee at a front desk.

Modeling of Hotel Immersion was developed in cooperation with SweetRush, firm which helps corporate clients to increase employees productivity. They use three-dimensional computer graphics and video with the circular overview for simulation of such tasks as cleaning of premises or installation of trays for the room service.

Using similar models heads of Hilton can immerse themselves in all departments of hotel business, including a laundry, delivery of food and sale. The management of a system of hotels hopes that if employees understand how heavy can be similar work, then in the future they will consider how their solutions influence service commands.

Hilton also unrolls virtual simulations which show to team members of hotel what it - to be a guest with problem service, for example, at the dragged-out ordering process.

VR still generally is considered as the gaming platform, but, according to IDC, in 2020 nearly a half of all expenses on AR/VR will fall on commercial scenarios. It is expected that in 2020 scenarios for training will win first place among commercial types of use of VR, and the enterprises, including Hilton, will spend up to $2.6 billion[1] for their deployment]
