2021: Accenture bought Workforce Insight
In mid-July 2021, Accenture bought the consulting company Workforce Insight, which specializes in human resources management. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction will allow Accenture to more effectively transform personnel resources for customers.
The deal involves the transfer of a team of almost 300 professionals to Accenture HR, which is part of the Intelligent Platform Services group. The new experts are expected to enable Accenture to expand its consulting and planning capabilities and implement additional technology solutions for data processing and analytics.
The founder and director of strategy at Workforce Insight, Don Giffel, notes that for 15 years, Workforce Insight has specialized in creating industry-specific analytical solutions for human resources management and innovative approaches to implement them that provide sustainable value. The merger with Accenture will allow the company to expand opportunities and provide services to even more customers around the world, as well as offer employees new interesting growth opportunities.
