2026: T-Bank buys stake in Simple

T-Investment Venture Fund acquired a stake in the Russian company Simple Company, a developer of software for the oil and gas industry. This was announced on January 21, 2026.

The Venture Investments 1 Fund and the ST Capital management company each acquired 9.993% in the authorized capital of Simple Company. The company develops IT solutions to prevent accidents and man-made disasters at oil and gas, chemical and heavy industry enterprises. Its own modular platform helps customers manage production assets, reduce downtime, and reduce maintenance costs.

Nikita Ilyinsky, director of private equity at T-Bank, said the fund continues to invest in technology companies with growth potential. The expert noted the achievement of Simple Company significant results in the Russian market and expressed confidence that the implementation of the business strategy and the investments attracted will ensure the sustainable development of the company.

The founder of Simple Company, Andrei Chernyshov, said that the presence of a T-Investment fund is an indicator of market confidence. According to him, the funds raised will be used to expand the team with qualified specialists and develop a new generation product line. This should provide the company with competitive advantages in the markets of Russia and the BRICS countries.

Closed mutual investment fund "Venture Investments 1" has been operating since February 2025. The fund is in an active investment phase: it selects and funds fast-growing business projects. The goal is to make a profit in 4-8 years by selling shares to a strategic investor or conducting an IPO, after which the financial result will be distributed among shareholders.
