2025: The purchase of the cloud provider Servers.ru cost Selectel 3 billion rubles

The amount of the transaction for the acquisition by the IT infrastructure provider Selectel of United Network LLC, operating under the brands Servers.ru, Exepto.ru and Fozzy.ru, amounted to over 3 billion rubles. This is stated in the financial statements of Selectel JSC, published on March 31, 2025.

Selectel acquired a 100% stake in the authorized capital of United Network in December 2024. The total value of the transaction, as stated in the financial report, is 3.045 billion rubles. This amount is formed from two parts: the basic payment under the sale and purchase agreement in the amount of 1.945 billion rubles and the projected future payment in the amount of 1.1 billion rubles.

The deal is expected to provide benefits for both sides. In particular, Selectel, thanks to the acquired asset, expects to accelerate organic growth. In turn, Sergey Krysenko, General Director of United Network LLC, notes that the merger with Selectel will allow the company to move to a qualitatively new stage of business development - both in terms of the range of services available to customers and the level of automation and support.

The Unified Network provides IaaS services (infrastructure as a service), including leased servers, private and public clouds, as well as colocation services based on partner data centers in Moscow. After the transaction, the parties will continue to support products and services familiar to customers as usual.^[1]

2024: Selectel bought 100% of United Network

According to Selectel's expectations, the deal will accelerate business growth and strengthen Selectel's position in the cloud infrastructure services market.

The Unified Network provides IaaS-level services (infrastructure as a service), including leased servers, private and public clouds, as well as colocation services (hosting server equipment) based on partner data centers in Moscow. The customer base of the provider as of December 2024 is more than 400 companies from the mid-sized and large business segment.

The company's expected revenue for 2024 is 1.6 billion rubles, EBITDA is 0.9 billion rubles (according to management reporting). According to iKS-Consulting, United Network LLC ranks third among providers of leased server rental services with a share of 10% in 2023.

After the transaction, the companies will continue to support products and services familiar to customers as usual.

According to him, the most important task for Selectel is to support the fault tolerance of the customer's infrastructure - for all customers of United Network LLC, the conditions for providing services and guarantees for the level of reliability of services will remain. In the future, customers will be able to expand the range of IT infrastructure management products with additional services based on the Selectel data center network.

2016: Entry into the Russian market and opening of the first data center under the Servers.ru brand in Russia

In January 2016, Servers.com announced its entry into the Russian market and the opening of its first data center here. He will work in Russia under the brand Servers.ru.
