2018: Google purchased DORA

In December, 2018 Google announced purchase of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) company with which it cooperated before., As reported in the blog DORA, this transaction will provide to developers access to results of analytical data processing, using practice of DevOps in cloud space. The financial component of the agreement does not reveal.

DORA consider that the company "will naturally fit" into Google thanks to attention of Internet giant to developers and community Open Source. Before the companies worked jointly on researches in the field of DevOps. The founder and the CEO of DORA Nicole Forsgren says that they after the company merger will continue "work on understanding of key features, measurement of the results based on income and process optimization to help teams to deliver their software in process of their transition to a cloud".[1]
