The Google company announced in May, 2012 acquisition of technologies, patents and some other assets of KikScore service which gives to online stores an opportunity to post on the website special printing about reliability. At the beginning of a month representatives of an online service announced the transaction with Internet giant in the official blog, and at the end of June KikScore will stop the work.
As analysts note, most likely the KikScore platform will be integrated into own similar service of Google company under the name Trusted Store. Today KikScore already recommends to the users to pass to Trusted Store in spite of the fact that the functionality of these services differs a little, The Next Web tells.
The Google Trusted Store program was started in October, 2011. Within this program online stores and other businesses can also receive special online printings which demonstrate their reliability for consumers. To receive printing from Trusted Store, businesses should conform to some requirements among which there is an existence of an effective customer support, the corresponding speed of work, etc.
In addition Google provides to users free service for commission of safe transactions on the Internet which should help buyers to protect itself(himself) from possible problems upon purchase of goods in unreliable online stores.
The KikScore service, in turn, works more as a social platform of trust for consumers. The special rating of reliability of Trust Score which is calculated depending on solvency of the company, existence of criminal records, traffic of the website, business practices, work of a feedback with consumers, security of the website, etc. is exposed to each shop receiving KikScore printing.
In addition to acquisition of the KikScore platform and all clients of the company whose number exceeds 1.7 thousand of Google will also take out all patents of the project in the order. Financial conditions of this transaction do not reveal.
