History

2022: IBM bought Neudesic

In mid-February 2022, IBM acquired Microsoft Azure partner Neudesic. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

It is assumed that the deal with Neudesic will allow IBM to expand the portfolio of hybrid multi-cloud services and services related to artificial intelligence. The American IT corporation wants to become a leader in this market.

According to the Neudesic website, before co-founding Neudesic in 2002, CEO Parsa Rohani worked for about 10 years at Microsoft as an architect. He worked in the Microsoft service division and "provided comprehensive technical guidance to the most strategic partners and Microsoft customers."

As part of the deal, Neudesic cloud and data consultants will join IBM Consulting, expanding IBM's ability to help customers meet their business needs with multi-cloud technologies.
