2020: IBM purchased Nordcloud
On December 21, 2020 IBM announced Nordcloud acquisition, but the cost of the transaction did not begin to open. The companies are going to satisfy all conditions of the signed agreement in the first quarter 2021 then the Norwegian startup will carry over the American IT corporation.

According to him, clients of IBM even more often apply more complex approach to upgrade of applications which allows them to work in a traditional IT environment, private and public cloud, and merger of Nordcloud will expand IBM deep knowledge of how to stimulate digital transformation of customers and also will promote further implementation of a hybrid cloud platform of IBM.
It is supposed that experience of Nordcloud in cloud projects and certificates of work with three largest suppliers of IaaS-solutions will become an important part of work of IBM on large-scale implementation of hybrid clouds.[1]
