2021: IBM bought SXiQ
At the end of November 2021, IBM acquired SXiQ. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
The deal contributes to the further development of IBM's hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence strategy, which will further allow customer enterprises to modernize and transform complex, critical applications across multiple clouds and platforms.

SXiQ will enhance the capabilities of IBM Consulting in Australia and New Zealand to upgrade applications and technology infrastructure in the cloud. SXiQ will join IBM Consulting's fast-growing hybrid cloud services business, helping IBM benefit from a growing professional cloud services market that will exceed $200 billion globally by 2024. The team of technology consultants SXiQ has experience in transforming and migrating enterprise workloads to cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.[1]
