2019: Creation of Accenture Microsoft Business Group

At the beginning of February, 2019 Accenture, Microsoft and Avanade announced creation of joint company Accenture Microsoft Business Group which will promote corporate products of Microsoft. This project became the largest investment of Microsoft into partner business.

As a part of Accenture Microsoft Business Group more than 45 thousand professionals who will help clients to pass to services will work Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365. Besides, the new company is going to participate in joint investment into functional and industrial solutions based on technologies of Microsoft.

Microsoft goes the way 1C: the largest joint venture with the partner is created

The senior managing director of Accenture Emma McGuigan is appointed the head of Accenture Microsoft Business Group.

"Each company becomes digital. Relying on our successful partnership with Accenture and Avanade, we will help clients to stimulate development of an innovation on a large scale and to conduct their industries in the future. It is a basis of our mission for expansion of opportunities of each person and each organization on the planet for achievement of new results" — the executive vice president of Microsoft Worldwide Commercial Business Judson Althoff noted.

Microsoft and Accenture cooperate many years: in due time they created solutions for information security, network for digital identification based on a blockchain, etc. By February, 2019 Microsoft has a set of the joint venture, and in this sense the software giant is similar to Russian 1C which has also many joint ventures with partners.

By the beginning of February, 2019 of Accenture and Avanade service (-whether) more than 4 thousand clients in the projects connected with the software of Microsoft. The companies hope that Accenture Microsoft Business Group will continue series of successful joint projects and will help their clients to overcome problems which they face in the course of digital transformation.^[1]
