2024: Creation of the company

Rostec creates a subsidiary RT-Development. One of its tasks will be to provide affordable corporate housing for workers, including young specialists. This is an urgent task in the context of the growing production load and high personnel needs of the Corporation, taking into account the high key rate and the rise in price. mortgages Rostec announced this on December 12, 2024.

Igor Zavyalov, Deputy Head of Rostec, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Corporation, oversees the work of this structure. Yury Popov has been appointed General Director of RT-Development. Over the years, Popov held senior positions in the civil service and in state-owned companies, has extensive experience in development and property management.

As of December 2024, Rostec unites more than 800 organizations in 60 regions of the country. In total, about 700 thousand people work in the organizations of the State Corporation. The personnel of Rostec is constantly expanding due to the growth of production tasks: the Corporation accounts for almost half of the total state defense order of the country, its enterprises also implement the most important civil programs in aircraft and engine building,,, and powermechanical engineering medical instrument making to electronics other areas.
