Payment world of RURU

The payment world of RURU — a payment system of services. The joint project of VimpelCom and Alfa-Bank started in 2011. The payment service of RURU since 2011 gives an opportunity safely and quickly to make different money transfers and to pay more than one thousand services. In addition to payment using the bank card, service offers an opportunity to pay services and to transfer money from balance of the mobile phone. It is possible to use services of service on the website ruru.ru, in mobile application of RURU Wallet with MasterCard (there are versions for iOS and Android) and also using SMS templates, when there is no Internet access.

The payment service of RURU allows to make remote payments for benefit of different trade and service companies on the basis of technologies mobile and e-commerce, electronic money and bank cards, and other modern technologies.

History

2019

VimpelCom (a brand Beeline) announced completion of the transaction on acquisition of a share block, the giving 100% control over "National service company", the owner of a payment service of RURU).

The VimpelCom telecommunication company working under a trademark Beeline in February, 2019 consolidated 47.95% of stocks of offshore Nouse Limited, follows from the annual report of the company. After that the share of VimpelCom in Nouse Limited reached 100%, transaction amount was 356 million rub^[1].

According to the Interfax agency, Nouse Limited owns JSC Natsionalnoy servisnoy kompaniyey (NSK, operator of a system of a mobile commerce Ruru). Just at the beginning of March, 2019 VimpelCom announced complete consolidation of Ruru. Including its amount, the operator did not disclose a detail of that transaction.

2012

Turnovers of the organization from June, 2012 to June, 2013 grew twice and reached 20 billion rubles, the company reported on July 25, 2013.

The average payment amount on one user in two years grew from 600 to 800 rub a month, number of transactions on one user - from two to three. The most popular categories of payment for last two years became: mobile communication, bulletin boards, social networks and online games.

To summer of 2014 owners of service expect to increase business still twice.

2011

The Ruru system was created in 2011 by VimpelCom and Alfa-Bank. VimpelCom is included into the Veon group which major shareholder is the LetterOne Holdings investment company. This company is created by founders of Alfa Group, which part Alfa-Bank is^[2].

Platform

The Natsionalnaya servisnaya kompaniya, LLC company (NSK, the RuRu trademark) became a basis for creation of new service. Bank and the operator - major shareholders of NSK. A controlling stake at VimpelCom. The Payment World of RuRu system is focused on commission of electronic payments for different goods and mobile services, electronic sales.

The service allows to make payments by means of payment cards VISA and MasterCard, electronic money or means on personal accounts of mobile operators. As the commission 5% for transaction keep.
