History
2025: Rostec bought Rostec City
Rostec State Corporation became the sole owner of the Rostec City business quarter on the territory of the former Tushinsky airfield in Moscow. The deal, whose value is estimated at ₽100 billion, was closed in April 2024, but information about it became known only in early March 2025. The total area of the acquired complex is 263,246 square meters. m.
According to Vedomosti, Vitaly Maschitsky's Vi Holding company sold the object to Tehsiti Development. According to the extract from Rosreestr, studied by the publication, the deal took place back in April 2024. Although the owners of Tehsiti Development in the SPARK-Interfax database are hidden, two sources close to the deal claim that this company belongs entirely to Rostec.
Earlier, Tehsiti Development was declared as a joint venture between Crocus Group (51%) and Rostec (49%), however, according to sources, the state corporation is currently the sole owner of this company. Requests to the publication from Crocus Group, Rostec and Tehsiti Development remained unanswered.
The construction of Rostec City was carried out by Vi Holding. Upon completion, the project should become one of the largest business quarters in Russia with a total area of about 400,000 square meters. m. At the moment, only the first stage of the complex has been put into operation, where part of the Rostec divisions has already moved.
Experts differently estimate the cost of the first stage of Rostec City. Senior Director of the Department of Assessment and Consulting Commonwealth Partnership Anton Kalistratov calls the amount of ₽50 -65 billion. The commercial director of the Business Club network, Sergei Chernousov, suggests that the facility costs about ₽73 billion. IPG.Estate Operations Director Alexander Fomin believes that Rostec could pay about ₽120 billion, given that such transactions are often concluded at a price above the market price[1]
