2020: Creation of investment fund

At the beginning of June, 2020 the ex-employees the Israeli of cyberinvestigation who founded the company Team8 announced creation of Team8 Capital - new venture fund which will invest means in projects of data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI) and cyber security.

Team8 Capital will be engaged in investments at the initial and early stages of financing. The fund will get a financial support from Moody's Investors Service and other companies, such as Microsoft, Airbus, Qualcomm, Walmart, Cisco and Barclays.

Team8 does not open any financial data about fund, but, according to the statement Securities and Exchange Commission USA, the company already received obligations for $104 million. The fund is expected attraction of $100-150 million Sarit Firon, one of the leading investors of Israel, joined Team8 as the managing partner of Team8 Capital. The cofounder of Team8 Liran Grinberg became one more managing partner.

With assistance of strategic investors, Team8 offers the model on creation of the new technology companies. This concept reveals large problems which the companies face, proposes new solutions for their solution and supports start of startups.

The Team8 Capital fund will use and expand this concept for conducting complex check of potential investments. In particular, the internal research group on technologies will provide technical expertize, and the internal group on entry into the market will provide market validation, having provided the critical information for adoption of investment solutions.
