2022: Transfer to ownership of AFK Sistema

At the end of December 2022, AFK Sistema, through its subsidiary, UK Kamchatka Project, bought 99.99% of Loyd-Fish LLC and Loyd-Auto LLC. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The fact that AFK Sistema acquired another fishing company in Kamchatka was reported by Interfax with reference to the data of the SPARK-Interfax system. It follows from it that "Loyd-Fish" was registered in 2000; among the activities: processing and canning of fish, crustaceans and mollusks, fishing, wholesale and retail trade in fish and seafood.

AFK Sistema acquired the fishing company Loyd-Fish in Kamchatka

Loyd-Fish is based on the west coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula and specializes in the extraction and processing of red fish. The company's assets by the end of 2022 include 9 fishing sites, 16 vessels, 2 processing plants with a capacity of 440 tons per day.

Loyd-Fish, as well as previously acquired Crystal Fish, Hangar and Zarya, are part of the Voskhod integrated fishing holding company with its own production and processing of 30-45 thousand tons of Pacific salmon per year.

The deal allowed the Voskhod holding to expand the catch zone and increase the stability of the annual catch: the Loyd-fish fishing areas are located in the western coast of Kamchatka, adjacent to the current assets of the commercial subzone, Sistema added to AFK.

After the acquisition of Loyd-fish, Voskhod became one of the largest holdings for the catch of Pacific salmon in Russia, which is fully consistent with the strategy of AFK Sistema in the fishing industry, the corporation noted. AFK announced plans to continue investing in the development of the Voskhod fishing holding to create an industry leader company with the presence of marine biological resources in key mining segments, as well as its own infrastructure and processing.[1]
