IzhAvto is the second largest car manufacturer in Russia and is part of the SOK group. The number of employees of the company is 5 thousand people, and the production volume for 2004 amounted to 94.5 thousand cars. The design capacity of KIA Spectra cars is 40 thousand cars per year.

LADA Vesta cars, LADA Granta, Nissan Sentra and Nissan Tiida liftbacks are coming off the assembly line of the enterprise. A large-scale modernization of the production complex was carried out, and LADA Izhevsk is a full-cycle enterprise, including stamping, casting of plastic components, welding, painting and assembly of cars.

History

2022: RUB 3.6 bln loss

Izhevsk Plant AvtoVAZ"" for 2022 registered revenue in the amount of 3.1 billion, rubles which is 3.3 times more than a year ago (10.4 billion rubles). The annual loss turned out to be a record for Lada Izhvesk LLC - 3.6 billion rubles. Such data were released by the company in February 2023.

According to Interfax, citing the reports of Lada Izhvesk LLC, in 2022 the cost of sales fell by 51.4%, to almost 4.7 billion rubles. Gross profit was negative, in the amount of 1.57 billion rubles. Commercial expenses decreased three times, to 316 million rubles; managerial - by 8.5%, up to 347.7 million rubles.

Plant "Lada Izhvesk"

In 2022, the indicators of other revenues and expenses of the company increased significantly. Other revenues jumped 6.3 times, to almost 1.2 billion rubles. Other expenses - soared almost 20 times, exceeding 3.7 billion rubles.

The total debt of Lada Izhevsk LLC by the end of 2022 decreased by 3.3%, to 8.8 billion rubles. Long-term liabilities remained at RUB 7.5 billion; short-term - decreased by 18.8%, to 1.3 billion rubles.

Since 2015, the Izhevsk AvtoVAZ plant has been producing Lada Vesta, popular among Russians, whose production ceased in the spring of 2022 after the start of a military operation in Ukraine and the imposition of sanctions, the agency recalls.

AvtoVAZ in August 2022 announced the transfer of Vesta production to its main capacities in Togliatti, to line B0. The president of the company, Maxim Sokolov, said that this would cost the company about 1 billion rubles and pay off by the end of 2023. The production of the model at the Togliatti plant is planned to begin in the first half of 2023. At the Izhevsk plant, the automaker wants to establish a pilot production of e-Largus by the end of the year.[1]

2005

In 2005, the Izhevsk Automobile Plant put into commercial operation an automated production control system of the lower level MES\CCR, developed and implemented by KFA specialists (South Korea). The MES system is entrusted with the solution of several tasks: the formation of a sequence of putting bodies on the conveyor, tracking bodies throughout the entire technological cycle from welding to shipment, issuing working instructions, accounting for numbered parts. In addition, MES\CCR allows you to monitor the operation of equipment on the KIA line and monitor emergency situations.
