RT-Invest was established in 2012 with the participation of the State Corporation. Rostec The company makes direct investments at the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad, including through the creation and management of investment funds. RT-Invest mainly invests in fast-growing companies in the sectors of advanced industrial technologies, the field, waste management information systems and materials transport telematics production construction.
2021: Start of fandomat production in Moscow region
The RT-Invest company of Rostec state corporation has launched its own production of container receiving devices in Klimovsk near Moscow. The workshop is designed for the monthly production of 200 devices. The company will carry out a full cycle of work - from the design, production and installation of devices to the unloading and transportation of delivered containers. In the near future, RT-Invest will place 564 fandomates in the Moscow region. This became known on December 6, 2021.
With the advent of its own production in the Moscow region, the installation time for fandomates will be significantly reduced. This will allow as soon as possible to equip even more schools, parks, MFCs, fitness centers in the Moscow Region and eventually increase the volume of collected plastic and aluminum containers.
This production workshop "RT-Invest" covers an area of more than 1000 m ², operates without a weekend and produces 50 devices per week. In the near future, the capacity will be increased. It takes two to three days to assemble one fandomat. More than 80% of all components were produced in Russia: hulls, metal structures, modules, sensors, lubricators, motors and magnetic components.
Fandomates are one of the most convenient ways to collect containers for recycling. The pilot project for their installation started in Kazan in January 2020, in 2021 we launched a network of fandomats in schools near Moscow. As of December 2021, 228 such devices were installed in the regions. In a short time, they have already collected more than 14 tons of plastic and aluminum containers suitable for processing. Creating our own production for the production of fandomats will scale the project to other regions and faster achieve our main goal - zero level of burial and complete abandonment of landfills, "said Sergey Chemezov, Director General of Rostec State Corporation . |
In turn, the general director of RT-Invest Andrei Shipelov noted that the geography of the project to collect secondary resources through fandomats is expanding every day.
We have a standard: all territories where the company is present should work according to the same principle - we will introduce fandomates and separate collection everywhere, as well as industrial processing of secondary raw materials. By the end of 2021, such devices will appear in 13 districts of the Moscow Region, and a motivation system will be introduced for residents - discounts and bonuses for various services, which will be an important step towards conscious consumption and separate collection, "said Andrei Shipelov, CEO of RT-Invest. |
The devices are connected to the regional monitoring system, thanks to this, a single operator of eco-points quickly exports raw materials. All resources collected are directed to the production of new goods. Aluminium cans can be recycled without loss of quality. They will produce new containers for drinks, cutlery or automotive parts. Polymers will become a raw material for the production of synthetic fabric, sleeping bags and winter clothing insulation. Since 2023, RT-Invest will process all plastic bottles from fandomates at its own enterprise and produce green PET granules.
Maximizing the extraction of secondary resources and their further processing into new products is one of the main principles of sustainable development. And as world experience has shown, it is the robotic system of separate collection that allows you to return over 90% of valuable resources to processing. This system, together with industrial sorting, composting of organics, maximum recycling of "useful fractions" and energy utilization of residual waste, which RT-Invest also introduces, will completely abandon[1] landfill landfill[2].
