Opening of two new clinics in Moscow for 115 million rubles

Medsi opened 2 more clinics in Moscow, investing 115 million rubles in them. The group announced this on December 9, 2022.

One of the institutions created in the SmartLab format (digital clinic "at home," designed to receive adult patients) is located at: Moskovsky, st. Tatyanin Park, 19, bldg. 3. The volume of investments in the project amounted to more than 41 million rubles. The medical center is designed to receive about 60 visits per day and more than 21 thousand patients per year.

The clinic provides patients with a range of medical and laboratory services, including functional and ultrasound diagnostics on expert-class devices, ECG, SMAD, Holter monitoring, and blood pressure measurement. Four medical rooms work for patients, including a procedural one, the reception is conducted by therapists, gynecologists, cardiologist, endocrinologist, ultrasound and functional diagnostics doctors.

More than 74 million rubles were allocated to open a clinic under the Smart project on 6th Radial Street. The medical center is designed to receive 130 patients per shift and more than 48 thousand per year. The clinic with an area of ​ ​ 250 square meters. m housed 8 offices, the reception will be conducted by an obstetrician-gynecologist, gastroenterologist, cardiologist, neurologist, otorhinolaryngologist, orthopedic traumatologist, endocrinologist, surgeon, therapist. Also, the medical organization will conduct laboratory, functional and instrumental diagnostics, purchased devices, ULTRASONOGRAPHY ECHO-KG, SMAD, Holter, ECG.

Opening of the first SmartLab offices in Moscow

In January 2022, Medsi opened the first medical offices of the SmartLab laboratory network in Moscow. They are built in the format of digital clinics "at home" and are designed to receive adult patients.

The clinic on the Vasiltsovsky camp with a total area of ​ ​ 150 square meters is located next to the Tekstilshchiki metro station, and the second institution with an area of ​ ​ 98 square meters is located near the Prokshino metro station. Both medical institutions are designed to receive about 70 people a day and about 20 thousand patients a year. The volume of investments in each of the projects amounted to 17 million rubles. Medical institutions operate in the middle price segment, treatment is carried out at cash and within the framework of VHI programs.

In SmartLab offices, patients will be able to undergo express diagnostics, laboratory, functional and ultrasound diagnostics on expert-class devices, ECG, SMAD (daily blood pressure monitoring), Holter monitoring, blood pressure measurement, as well as visit doctors.

In addition, the SmartLab clinic at the Vasiltsovsky camp presents equipment for telemedicine consultations, a number of gadgets for express diagnostics and "Symptom Checkers" - electronic questionnaires with which patients can assess their symptoms and choose the necessary specialist for telemedicine or face-to-face consultation.

SmartLab digital clinics offer a wide range of laboratory diagnostics. More than 3,000 types of tests are performed in Medsi own high-tech laboratory. Automated research methods, state-of-the-art equipment and daily quality control ensure accurate results. By the end of 2022, Medsi plans to expand the SmartLab network by opening another 25 medical offices in the regions where the company operates. By January 20, 2022, the Medsi network has 81 clinics in Russia, of which 42 are in Moscow and the Moscow region.^[1]

2021: Launch of a network of laboratories

Medsi has launched a network of SmartLab laboratories. More than 400 million rubles were invested in the first center, opened on the basis of a clinical hospital in Otradnoye. The group of companies announced this on November 25, 2021.

The SmartLab laboratory in Otradnoye has a total area of ​ ​ more than 2 thousand square meters. m and has an expected capacity of 20 million studies per year. Both routine diagnostic studies (general blood count, scatology, helminthiasis diagnosis, hematology, biochemistry, hormones, immunology) and highly specialized diagnostic methods (hemostasis, liquid cytology for screening for cervical, breast and thyroid cancer, telebacteriology, pathomorphology) are available there.

Medsi launched the SmartLab network of laboratories

The institution has launched the Intersystems laboratory information system with built-in SPMS modules (decision support system), which, as noted in Medsi, allows you to store and analyze large amounts of data with research results. The treating physician can track the reference values ​ ​ of each patient thanks to the formation of Big Data by medical history.

The launch of Medsi's own clinical and diagnostic laboratory is an important step in developing a strategically important direction for the company and providing a closed cycle of qualified medical care within one network - from predictive outpatient care to inpatient treatment, rehabilitation and dynamic observation. In the work of the laboratory, artificial intelligence technologies and advanced research methods are actively being introduced, - the operating director of Medsi Rodion Stupin.

SmartLab's work uses lab devices and reagents from companies such as BeckmanCoulter, Siemens Healthineers, OrthoClinicalDiagnostics and Becton Dickinson, he said.^[2]
