Start of sales
On December 26, 2022, the Moskvich electric car went on sale. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, the head of the Moscow Department of Transport and the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure Maxim Liksutov.
I think the car is worthy... From Monday [December 26, 2022] it will be possible to buy an electric car, "he said at a meeting with reporters. |
According to previously published data, the electric Moskvich 3e is 360 kg heavier than the gasoline one (1800 versus 1440 kg), and instead of the ICE, it has a 68-horsepower SY Power TZ200XSIEM1 electric motor and a 187 Ah battery. The range is 410 km.
The dimensions of the Moskvich 3e indicated in the OTTS (vehicle type approval certificate) almost exactly coincide with the official dimensions of the JAC JS4. Another indirect evidence of the origin of the electric car can be considered a battery manufacturer: OTTS notes that this is Sinoev Technologies, which is a production partner of JAC.
Among the options of Moskvich 3e, OTTS mentions tire pressure sensors, electric windows, air conditioning, a central lock and a driver's airbag. Cruise control, parking sensors and additional pillows may optionally be available.
According to TASS, the general director of the state corporation Rostec Sergei Chemezov and the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the KamAZ training ground in December 2022 tested the Moskvich 3e electric car.
By the end of December 2022, 600 cars will leave the Moskvich assembly line, including 200 Moskvich 3e electric vehicles. The machines are assembled using the large assembly method. A special state subsidy in the amount of 925,000 rubles will operate on the electric car - it can be obtained when buying a car through a preferential car loan program.[1]
Launch of production from components of the Chinese JAC
The assembly of the first cars at the capital's plant Muscovite"" will begin next week (November 21-27, 2022). This was announced by the mayor. Moscow Sergei Sobyanin
{{quote 'Next [2023] year, I hope, will reach the parameters of the volume of work, comparable before the period when Renault was there. And in two or three years we plan to launch our own, Russian platform of electric vehicles, "Sobyanin added. }}
The mayor explained that after the departure of a significant number of foreign investors from Moscow, many of the vacated niches were filled by local entrepreneurs. According to Sobyanin, the automotive industry is currently the only problematic niche.
Earlier in November 2022, Vehicle Type Approvals (OTTS) for Muscovites appeared in the public domain: judging by them, the Moskvich 3 and Moskvich 3e models are replicated JS4 and E40X of the Chinese company JAC. The first will be offered with an atmospheric or turbocharged engine to choose from, and the second, with a -e prefix, with an electric unit with a capacity of 68 horsepower.
The dimensions of the two models are the same: length - 4410 mm, width - 1800 mm, height - 1660 mm, wheelbase - 2620 mm. The width of the front track is 1510 mm, the rear track is 1500 mm. The place of production in the documents is the Moskvich Moscow Automobile Plant (formerly Renault Russia), but KamAZ, which acts as the curator of the project, is registered as the applicant in OTTS.
Moskvich 3e is equipped with an SY Power TZ200XSIEM1 electric motor and a Sinoev traction battery 21011S4C4 a capacity of 187 A·ch. The range on one full charge is 410 km.
In all cases, front, full drive is not provided in principle, since the rear suspension is of the semi-dependent type, with a single torsion bar. The loaded mass of the gasoline Moskvich is 1440 kg, the electric mass is 1.8 thousand kg. Based on the ratio of mass and power, it can be assumed that high indicators should not be expected from the dynamic characteristics of Moskvich 3e.[2]
