In the fall of 2017, sales were launched in Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg and four new regional switching nodes were put into operation. The launch of sales in Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg is part of the overall development strategy of Aiva Mobile, which is aimed at diversifying the subscriber base and increasing the coverage area in promising regions. By the end of the year, residents of Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don will be able to connect to Aiva Mobile.
MTT has built four regional network nodes for Aiva Mobile: in Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar and Rostov. This infrastructure allows you to start connecting subscribers in these regions, as well as provide them with a high-speed mobile Internet service and other additional services.
Strengthening infrastructure and launching sales in new regions is underway together with the expansion of the foreign geography of Aiva Mobile. In September of this year, Aiva Mobile was launched in Armenia in partnership with the Armenian operator UCom. This is the fourth country where operator services are available. The first country was Tajikistan, where Aiva Mobile, in partnership with the operator Babilon Mobile, implemented its first project in 2014. In December 2015, the operator began work in Finland, together with DNA operator Oy, and in February 2016 - in Uzbekistan with local partner UCell.

The project of the Aiva Mobile operator is aimed at representatives of ethnic communities, entrepreneurs and tourists who come to Russia from Armenia and want to use their "home" number.
"Russia and Armenia are historically in close contact, economic and cultural.
