2015: Creation of joint business of Amazon and Accenture

On October 7, 2015 Amazon also Accenture announced creation of joint business on providing cloud IT services to the companies. Thanks to this cooperation the Internet giant continued to strengthen positions in the market where long time dominate IBM and HP, reports Bloomberg news agency.

Partnership of Amazon and Accenture was announced at the re conference: Invent in Las Vegas organized by the online retailer. Within joint venture under the name Accenture AWS Business Group of the company will develop new technology services and to help corporations to transfer their computing resources to a cloud of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Partners intend to adjust close work of the specialists in the field of engineering development, marketing and sales.

Besides, within the first year of cooperation it is going to train about 1000 consultants of Accenture and to certify about 500 specialists of this company for work and support of cloud services of AWS. Accenture and Amazon are going to invest in joint business for several years, having focused on such directions as migration of applications, corporate cloud applicaions, analytics and Big Data.

Having secured with Accenture support, the Amazon company will be able to receive new large contracts, having created thereby threat for HP and IBM which look for cheaper and effective methods of management of outsourcing of the technologies.

"HP, Oracle and Dell already cooperate with Accenture therefore for Amazon it was important to create partner communications with this company now. They should offer corporate users as much as possible universal platform", - the analyst of Constellation Research Holger Müller (Holger Mueller) considers.^[1]
