MWS AI (formerly MTS AI) is a subsidiary of MTS and the Artificial Intelligence Competence Center. The company creates products and optimizes processes both within MTS and in the foreign market. The MTS AI portfolio includes solutions in the field of computer vision, natural language processing and boundary computing (data for December 2021). The company forms an international AI community, develops advanced ideas, conducts research, creates solutions and invests.

MTS AI revenue (since June 2025, the legal entity is called MVS AI LLC) in 2024 amounted to 4.36 billion rubles. Such data are given in the annual report of MTS, published in early July, which TAdviser got acquainted with.

Earlier, MTS did not single out the turnover of its "daughter," specializing in developments in the field of AI. It seems that it is given taking into account the financial indicators of not only MVS AI, but also the companies of which it is a founder. According to the FTS database , the revenue of MVS AI at the end of 2024 amounted to 3 billion rubles with an increase of 66% and a net profit of 626.5 million rubles. At the same time, the revenue of VisionLabs (VisionLabs LLC), the largest subsidiary of MTS AI, in 2024, on the contrary, decreased - by 30%, to 1 billion rubles, and the company ended the year with a net loss of about 368.4 million rubles.

MTS AI implemented over 20 projects for external and internal customers in 2024. With external clients, in particular, eight contracts were concluded in the amount of 208 million rubles.

In 2024, pilots were launched to implement large language model Cotype MTS AI with a RAG module to enrich customer profiles, create smart database search systems and code generation and auto-completion services for a number of enterprises in the financial and industrial sectors, the annual report says.

Of the specific customers, for example, Aeroflot is mentioned there. The airline has developed the Announce service to promptly inform passengers. The solution allows you to create message texts, voice them in a synthesized voice, call customers and send them SMS messages.

Another company, Vision Service, integrated MTS AI's large Cotype language model and Audiogram platform into the MAX corporate communications system. The solution can record, transcribe and analyze corporate meetings. The AI platform helps structure information and captures all important aspects of meetings.

According to the results of 2024, more than 50 leads totaling 1.455 billion rubles were listed in the funnel of external clients of MTS AI, MTS reports. In addition, in 2024, MTS AI signed 17 partnership agreements with leading IT integrators and developers of corporate digital solutions.

I must say that MTS from the very beginning stated that its "daughter" MTS AI, previously legally called MTS Artificial Intelligence Center LLC, and then MTS AI, was created in 2017 to develop AI-based solutions for MTS ecosystem companies, as well as for external customers. However, earlier in its annual reports, the company did not share the results of MTS AI sales in the foreign market. And it began to note the success of the company's work within the MTS ecosystem only in the latest reports. So, for example, at the end of 2022, MTS reported on 20 implemented MTS AI projects for the MTS ecosystem.

The annual report notes that in 2024 MTS AI actively created new products, integrated advanced developments into current solutions, participated in the development of the AI field in Russia, conducted research work aimed at studying innovative technologies and their subsequent introduction into its products. The key areas were large language models, bots and virtual assistants, speech technologies, solutions for detecting digital fraud.

As for the joint activity with VisionLabs, in 2024 MTS AI, based on its own developments and algorithms, VisionLabs created a service for protecting against deepfake attacks, detecting prohibited personnel in photos and videos, as well as identifying AI-generated media materials. In 2024, an active study of combining VisionLabs and MTS AI solutions for anti-spoofing into a single service began.

Renaming to MWS AI

From June 26, 2025, MTS AI began operating under the MWS AI brand TAdviser , MWS AI officials said. In addition, the name of the company's legal entity has changed: from AI LLC MTS (MTS Artificial Intelligence Center LLC) to MVS AI LLC (MVS Artificial Intelligence Center LLC) - according to the Chekko portal.

Change of ownership

According to the Chekko portal, from April 10, 2025, instead of MTS Digital LLC, MTS Web Services LLC with a 100% ownership stake in the authorized capital became the sole founder of MTS AI LLC.
