2020: Emergence in Combo service

2019
Dynamics of sales of MyBook
Sales increase of MyBook at the end of 2019 outstripped growth rates of the market and was 37%. At the same time the largest growth of revenue is mentioned in the MyBook application on the Android platform — 57%.
In 2019 MyBook complemented the range audiobooks and provided function of synchronization which gave to readers an opportunity quickly to pass from audio to the e-book or back at any moment, at the same time continuing reading or listening since the same moment on which they stopped. In December, 2019 21% of users of an audiosubscription in the MyBook application on the Android platform and 36% — on the IOS platform used this function. Also in 2019 MyBook started the MyBook application: History which is created for all who lack time for reading and likes "serialnost": each story can be read on average in 15 minutes, episodes appear weekly.
Growth of subscription model happens including thanks to growth of trust of readers to this method of consumption of the book. So, according to Kantar TNS, in December, 2019 53% of respondents expressed readiness to use a subscription in the future that 6% higher, than was observed the previous year. 63% of respondents call one of key advantages of a subscription to book service convenience of access to all range of books for a certain period at once, and in MyBook, the largest book service on a subscription, this more than a quarter of one million legal electronic and audiobooks.
Start of synchronization electronic and audiobooks
On November 18, 2019 it became known that book service on model of a subscription MyBook entering into Litres group the first in Russia and the CIS countries started synchronization electronic and audiobooks. This function gives the chance to readers quickly and conveniently to pass from an audioformat to the e-book or on the contrary, at the same time continuing reading or listening since the same moment on which they stopped. For November, 2019 synchronously more than 2,000 electronic and audiobooks among which there are works by such popular authors as Boris Akunin, Yuval Noy Harari, Sergey Lukyanenko, Yu Nesbyo, Stephen Kovi, Victor Pelevin and many others.
In the application and on the website MyBook synchronized works have special marking "Read and listen" in the form of icons of the book and earphones. It is very simple to switch between formats. It is enough to select text fragment in the e-book and to click "Listen". Or, if the user listens to the audiobook and wants to return to a text format, to select the Read icon from the application screen upper right corner. That synchronized works are read not using technology of speech synthesis (text to speech), and living readers the atmosphere of the book and "intonation" of the author are transferred most precisely and brightly.
According to forecasts of MyBook, until the end of 2019 the directory of synchronized books considerably will increase. First of all service is going to synchronize books which audioversions belong to the same publishing house, as works, electronic, and most popular with readers. Also function of synchronization will be available to users of MyBook in Estonia where service will appear in the spring of 2020.
