Industrial Internet Consortium of Industrial Internet ConsortiumTM, IIC

The consortium was founded in March, 2014 for consolidation of the developer organizations participating in creation and promotion of the technologies necessary for increase in growth rates of industrial Internet of Things. Members of IIC jointly work on acceleration of commercial use of advanced technologies of IIoT. Small and large technology innovators, leaders of the vertical markets, researchers, the universities and the government organizations are a part of consortium. Thanks to numerous actions and programs, IIC helps users of technologies, to suppliers, system integrators and researchers to achieve results in the course of digital transformation of all enterprise. The consortium develops standards and makes to the organizations the recommendations necessary for strategic use of technologies and solutions in the field of industrial Internet of Things.

2017

SAS was a part of the international consortium of the industrial Internet

In August, 2017 SAS joined the international consortium of the industrial Internet. The accession to consortium will allow to create different joint solutions with other its participants and to implement possibilities of profound analytics and high-performance computing in bigger number of production companies.

Agreement with National association of participants of the market of the industrial Internet (NAPI)

The national Association of participants of the market of the industrial Internet (NAPI) and Industrial Internet Consortium (Industrial Internet Consortium, IIC) signed the agreement on cooperation at the beginning of 2017. The organizations agreed about exchange of experience and information, implementation of joint projects and consolidation of efforts on market development of the industrial Internet. The main objective of the next year of cooperation is studying of experience of successful implementing solutions of the industrial Internet in the world and localization of these solutions in Russia.

Cooperation with Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) will give to participants of NAPI the accessibility to foreign practicians of development of solutions and which implementations of projects are the cornerstone technologies of the industrial Internet, and with assistance of Association, to perform start test bedov and pilot projects in the territory of Russia.

2014: Creation of Consortium

The companies AT&T Cisco GE, IBM also Intel created in the spring of 2014 Industrial Internet Consortium (Industrial Internet ConsortiumTM, IIC), non-commercial group with open membership, stremyayushchuyusya to eliminate barriers between different technologies thereby to provide the maximum access to to Big Data and to improve integration of a physical and digital medium. The consortium will render assistance in connection and resource optimization, transactions and data for the purpose of disclosure of business values in all industries.

The created ecosystem of the companies, scientific centers and government institutions is designed to stimulate implementation of applications of the industrial Internet which serve as one of bases of Internet of Things. The charter of IIC will encourage innovations in the way:

• applications existing and creations of new options of use of practical applications;
• developments of techniques, reference architecture, requirements of standardization and examples of implementation for simplification of implementation of the connected technologies;
• influences on development process of global standards for the Internet and industrial systems;
• holding open forums for exchange of the practical ideas, techniques, experience and knowledge;
• building confidence in new and innovation methods of providing an infobezopasnost.

Founders of Consortium will enter into the management of IIC as permanent members: AT&T, Cisco, GE, IBM and Intel, – and also four more elective representatives. The task of this collective body will include the general management and the help to the organizations in use of the opening opportunities. IIC is open for participation of any companies, organizations and other legal entities interested in the accelerated implementation of the industrial Internet. Direct manipulation of IIC will be exercised by the non-profit professional association Object Management Group (OMG) located in Boston (piece Massachusetts).
