Fintech company Ozon doubled revenue over the year

The net interest margin of the direction decreased by 1.9 percentage points (pp), to 11.1%. Ozon explained this by an increase in the share of income from the placement of fintech segment funds in third-party financial institutions. Margin less provisions for losses decreased by 1.5 pp, amounting to 8.7%.

The client base of fintech services increased by 38%, reaching 41.7 million users. The volume of attracted funds of customers increased 2.6 times, to 505.8 billion rubles, of which 36 billion rubles. fell on term deposits. The company explains this growth by expanding the product line, including the launch of a savings account with a system of daily interest payments.

According to Ozon's statements, the risk value of the loan portfolio increased by 1.7 pp to 9.9% amid an increase in lending volumes. The level of coverage of non-performing loans with reserves as of December 31, 2025 was 1.3x.

Thanks to revenue growth, profit before tax in 2024 jumped 129%, amounting to 26.45 billion rubles against 11.53 billion rubles a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA (profit before interest, taxes and depreciation) showed an annualized increase of 142% - from 13.4 billion rubles to 32.44 billion rubles.

The growth of the base of active customers and their loyalty to the fintech banking product helped Ozon attract 3.6 times more customer funds than a year earlier. As of December 31, 2024, the amount of customer funds in current accounts, deposits and deposits reached 193 billion rubles, compared with 53 billion rubles a year earlier. The volume of loans issued to fintech customers almost doubled over the year - from 46.7 billion rubles to 89.1 billion rubles.

The Ozon family of fintech products includes credit and factoring services, car leasing, insurance products, settlement and cash services, deposits and savings accounts, as well as Ozon Card, which is the most popular payment method on the marketplace. Moreover, the volume of operations on this card outside the Ozon site is growing dynamically: at the end of 2024, more than 40% of transactions fell on external operations.[3]
