2017: Revenue growth of the Russian division by 8%

The financial revenue of the Russian division amounted to 877 million rubles for 2017. In terms of data storage services, Linxdatacenter entered the top 5 largest Russian data center service providers. The growth of the business was influenced by the launch of the first hyperconverged cloud in Russia, the creation of an international center of expertise LinxLab, the implementation of the Fast Cross Cable project, the update of the pricing system and the simplification of technical support processes.

Linxdatacenter recorded revenue growth of 8% in 2017 compared to 2016. The main growth was shown by the directions associated with the placement of equipment and the provision of cloud services in two Russian Linxdatacenter data centers.

Online retailers and content providers have become the most prominent consumers of resources among Linxdatacenter customers. In general, Russian Linxdatacenter customers are showing growing interest in a hybrid model of IT infrastructure - using their own computing power and services from external cloud providers. Taking into account this trend, in 2017 Linxdatacenter continued to invest in the development of the data storage business, including through the sale of a non-core part of the business - the telecommunications segment, which allowed providing communication services from Western Europe to Eastern Europe, Russia and Kazakhstan. Revenue from the sale of this financial segment made it possible to fully focus on strengthening the main areas - data center services and cloud solutions in Russia and Poland.

Thanks to its focus on colocation and cloud, the company has brought several storage solutions and services to market. In 2017, Linxdatacenter launched the first hyperconverged cloud in Russia. The partnership with the companies Cisco Systems made it possible to deploy a hyperconverged platform HyperFlex based on the Moscow data center, combining server and network automation, as well as distributed disk storage. This solution supports a range of applications and workloads for the data center, and platform management is fully automated. The basis was taken as a standard validated design of the company, Cisco which includes not only the platform, but also virtualizations backup data solutions.

Linxdatacenter has also launched the Fast Cross Cable (FCC) project to provide cross-country seamlessly. In particular, customers' access to their own racks has been automated, a comfortable space for working with equipment in the data center has been organized, and calls to the technical support service have been simplified.

2012: EtherLinx Carrier Grade Service Launch

In April 2012, a service was launched in the Etherlinx service package - EtherLinx Carrier Grade. In terms of its characteristics, the service is focused on the high requirements of international telecom operators and includes an Internet interface (NNI), network management and diagnostics (OAM) and quality of service (QOS).

The Etherlinx Carrier Grade service enables international operators to connect to the company's locations in Frankfurt, Stockholm and/or Moscow using gateway interfaces (NNIs), which will allow them to organize the required number of virtual communication channels (VLANs) through a single broadband physical interface, reducing connection costs and simplifying the management process.
