2.5-fold increase in product output

The Svetlana-Semiconductors plant, which is part of the Micron group of companies, increased production 2.5 times over the year. The company is organized on the basis of one of the oldest industrial complexes of our country, a pioneer of domestic microelectronics and specializes in the production of semiconductor devices.

The Svetlana-Semiconductors team employs more than 400 employees, the team is developing a mentoring system, the salary of production personnel increased by 30% over the year.

Products

As of October 2023, the company produces high-frequency bipolar transistors, logic integrated circuits, bipolar interface circuits, integrated circuits of analog keys and multiplexers; radiation-resistant microcircuits of analog keys and multiplexers.

Svetlana-Semiconductors JSC products are used in the field of aviation, navigation and communications, including multichannel systems for collecting, processing and transmitting information; satellite, ground, on-board communications.

2018: Entry into the Micron Group of Companies

In November 2018, Mikron Group of Companies, a Russian manufacturer and exporter of microelectronic products, announced the acquisition of an enterprise of Svetlana-Semiconductors JSC (St. Petersburg) specializing in the production of industrial microcircuits. This transaction corresponds to the global trend of consolidation of microelectronic assets in order to scale successful practices by strong enterprises and increase competitiveness.

"By joining the Micron group, Svetlana-Semiconductors JSC will have access to the production capacities and best business practices of the parent company," said Gulnara Khasyanova, General Director of Micron PJSC. - Within a few months, a new strategy of the enterprise will be developed to strengthen its market position, taking into account synergies and opportunities within the Micron group, as we have already done at the subsidiary VZPP-Micron, where the strategy of consolidation and modernization of the product line for export was implemented. Micron Group of Companies consolidates 100% of the shares of Svetlana-Semiconductors JSC through a subsidiary of VZPP-Micron JSC. The financial statements of Svetlana-Semiconductors JSC will be consolidated in the Group of companies "Mikron" statements from the fourth quarter of 2018.
