2025: Appointment by an authorized organization to cooperate with educational institutions
Rostelecom has appointed the RTK IT School (RTK IT LLC) as its authorized organization for cooperation with educational institutions. Rostelecom announced this on December 22, 2025. Now the RTK IT school on behalf of Rostelecom will conclude agreements on the training of IT specialists both in secondary and higher education programs, as well as in additional courses and extracurricular activities in the field of information technology. The school will also report on the results of such cooperation to the state. The appointment was carried out in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 25.5 of the Regulation on State Accreditation of Russian Organizations, approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 30, 2022 No. 1729 (as amended by Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of 28.11.2025 No. 1949).
The decision establishes the role of the IT school of RTK as a key operator for the conclusion and execution of agreements with educational organizations aimed at developing the IT education system. The school will participate in the implementation of the main educational programs in the specialties and areas of training of higher and secondary vocational education necessary for activities in the field of information technology, as well as in the implementation of additional professional, general and extracurricular activities that contribute to the improvement of the qualifications of specialists.
The scope of the IT school of RTK includes an assessment of the activities of subsidiaries and affiliates for their compliance with regulatory requirements and a list of types of participation approved by the authorized body. The school will also provide methodological, organizational, technical and analytical support at the request of participants. An important aspect of the IT school's work is centralized interaction with educational organizations to implement measures aimed at increasing the level of competencies of students in the field of IT, as well as training personnel in accordance with professional standards. The RTK IT School will conclude agreements with educational organizations, as well as collect and systematize reporting data on the activities performed, which will ensure transparency and control over the use of funds and achievement of the goals of educational programs.
