2025: Wildberries bought Oskanov International Magas Airport JSC for ₽425 million

The marketplace structure Wildberries acquired a 100% stake in Oskanov International Magas Airport JSC Ingushetia for ₽425 million following an auction in which two companies participated, at an initial lot value of ₽250 million. The buyer was Apr-City/TVD LLC, which is part of the combined Wildberries & Russ company, which manages more than 135 logistics facilities with a total area of over 3.5 million square meters. This was announced by the head of Ingushetia Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov in September 2025.

According to Interfax, the authorities of the republic purposefully went to the sale of the airport, realizing the need for serious investments for its further development. The funds received from the transaction will be used to implement social programs in the region.

Kalimatov noted that strategic partnership with a major market player opens up new horizons for the development of transport infrastructure and the economy of Ingushetia. According to the head of the republic, investments will allow modernizing the airport, significantly improving infrastructure, increasing throughput and security.

The leadership of the region expects to open new aviation destinations, including international routes, which should give impetus to the development of tourism and create additional jobs. Such prospects are associated with the potential of a new owner to invest in the development of aviation infrastructure.

The decision to sell 100% of the airport shares at the auction was made due to the difficult economic situation of the facility. The maintenance of the airport cost the republican budget about ₽100 million annually with limited opportunities for self-financing.

Magas Airport operates in conditions of extremely limited traffic - there is only one regular flight per day in the direction of Magas-Moscow. Attempts to increase the number of directions were made, but had a temporary effect.[1]
