The use of external cloud services, such as Amazon AWS or, Google Cloud has potential risks. Senior engineer for machine learning Dmitry Savin pointed out possible problems with the availability of foreign capacities and the risks of internal data leakage. The expert estimates potential investments Wildberries in the project Yekaterinburg in the amount of up to 1 billion. rubles

The head of the team in the field of AI of TripleTen Maxim Kulichenko noted that the market for data centers for AI loads in Russia is still limited. According to him, the GPU-oriented power required for complex computing is mainly concentrated in the largest players such as Sberbank, Yandex and VK.

Wildberries-Russ is actively developing AI-based projects. The company's ecosystem already has a smart photo search, a neural network for generating product descriptions and a service for detecting deepfakes. The construction of our own data centers is aimed at supporting these and future developments, ensuring full control over the computing infrastructure.[1][2]
