2024: Deal to sell the share of Di-Mobility Kazakhstan LLC to Delimobil

The Russian company PJSC "Carshering Russia," better known under the brand "Delimobil," entered into a deal with the Czech D-Mobility Worldwide a.s. to acquire a 30% stake in the car-sharing business in Kazakhstan. This became known in August 2024. The move is aimed at further expanding the company's international presence.

According to Interfax, the option gives Delimobil the opportunity to buy out a stake in Di-Mobility Kazakhstan LLC. The amount of the transaction is symbolic - only €1, which confirms Delimobil's intention to have flexibility in choosing the time to realize its international ambitions. The press service of the company emphasized that this transaction is one of the possible options for developing business abroad and does not impose obligations on Carshering Russia.

The founder and majority shareholder of Delimobil, as well as the Mikro Kapital Group fund, which owns D-Mobility Worldwide, is Vincenzo Trani. Through this Czech structure, car-sharing projects are developing not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the Czech Republic, Belarus and Thailand under the Anytime brand.

In the first half of 2024, the demand for Delimobil services increased significantly: the number of minutes sold increased by 31% compared to the same period in 2023, and the company's fleet reached 30 thousand cars, making it the largest in Russian car sharing. The number of registered users of the service also increased by 17% and reached 10.4 million people.

Elena Bekhtina, General Director of Delimobil, noted that in the first half of 2024 the company actively invested in the development and expansion of the fleet, which made it possible not only to strengthen its leadership position in the Russian market, but also to enter new markets such as Sochi and Bashkortostan. By the end of 2024, Delimobil plans to launch its services in another Russian city.^[1]
