2025: Polyplastic bought 65% of AMS Pro

At the end of February 2025, the Polyplastic group became the owner of 65% in AMS Pro LLC, a former division of the Belgian supplier of plastic pipes and fittings Aliaxis. This deal allowed the largest polymer pipe manufacturer in Russia and the EAEU to strengthen its market position, expand capacity and strengthen its export direction.

According to Kommersant, as a result of the transaction, AMS Pro CEO Klim Kan reduced his share from 55% to 19.5%. The shares of the remaining founders of the company - Elena Bashkina, Alexei Lyubimov and Alexei Mityushkin - also decreased from 15% to 5.25% for each.

The Belgian company Aliaxis, specializing in the supply of pipeline systems for infrastructure, construction and agriculture, left the Russian market in 2023, selling its local structures - AMS Pro and AMS Group - to the management of companies. According to information from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL), as of March 6, 2025, the owners of AMC Group are the same individuals - Klim Kan, Elena Bashkina, Alexey Lyubimov and Alexey Mityushkin.

Lev Gorilovsky, president of the Polyplastic group, said that the transaction was carried out at the authorized value. According to him, the acquired company is considered as promising in terms of the sale of products and the subsequent development of production on the basis of the enterprise.

According to the estimates of the analytical credit rating agency (ACRA), the share of the Polyplastic group in the Russian market is 40.7% in physical terms. The company owns 32 plants in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan with a total production capacity of about 750 thousand tons. Last year, the structure owned by group president Lev Gorilovsky sold a 25% stake in Polyplastic to the Gazprombank fund.[1]
