JSC Institute of Reactor Materials (IRM) — the enterprise of Rosatom located in Sverdlovsk region which researches materials for nuclear power and also produces radioactive isotopes. 2017: Expansion of production of medicines for nuclear medicine
At the end of August, 2017 the expert advice of Fund of technology development of Sverdlovsk region approved to "Institute of reactor materials" a loan in the amount of 100 million rubles for development of the project in the organization of high technology production of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation sources for nuclear medicine and the industry.
It is supposed that the main part of funds (about 70%) for this project will be allocated by Fund of development of the industry. The solution of Fund will give start to implementation of all project.
By means of the raised funds it is going to market technology more difficult connections assuming high value added.
