2025: Establishment of the Centre
In May 2025, it became known about the creation in Russia of the Center for the Development of Artificial Intelligence (IDR) on the basis of the Analytical Center under the Government. The new structure will serve as a specialized project office and coordinate the interaction of federal, regional authorities and business in the field of using artificial intelligence. The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media published the corresponding draft resolution on the portal regulation.gov.ru.
According to Kommersant, the tasks of the center include building operational cross-cutting coordination between state bodies, regions and business.
