2021: Cognitive Pilot has created a company in the United States

In early August 2021, it became known about the creation of Cognitive Pilot Corp. - the American "daughter" of Cognitive Pilot. A new legal entity registered in Texas will promote autopilots for harvesters and tractors in the United States.

As Olga Uskova, CEO of Cognitive Pilot, told Vedomosti, first the Cognitive Agro Pilot unmanned agricultural equipment management system will be sold in Kansas, Oklahoma, Ohio and Texas, where such technologies are not licensed. In addition, a license was obtained from the state of Delaware for the sale and operation of Cognitive Agro Pilot. It is planned to obtain permits and begin sales in 11 more leading agricultural states, she said.

Cognitive Pilot has opened a company in the United States

By the end of 2022, Cognitive Pilot planned to export 2,000 Cognitive Agro Pilot systems, 700 to the United States and Canada, the same number to South America. The device will cost in the United States $11-13 thousand, in South America - up to $16 thousand. The price depends on duties in the country, the representative of the company explained.

Cognitive Pilot wants to sell equipment through eBay, and install it through a special center. Deliveries to the United States, Brazil and Argentina will take place from the Russian warehouse, the standard delivery period is 11-23 days.

According to Olga Uskova, the goal of Cognitive Pilot is to occupy 10% of the autopilot market for combines in the USA, Canada and the largest countries of South America in 2022-2027 - for the USA and Canada this is approximately 30,000 units. The company expects that already in 2023 the share of exports in the revenue of Cognitive Pilot will reach 50%.

According to analysts of ReportLinker, the volume of the American market for unmanned agricultural equipment by 2027 will reach about $200 billion, increasing almost 9 times compared to 2020 ($23 billion).[1]
