2021: Establishing a Company

In early August 2021, it became known about the creation of Cognitive Pilot Corp. - the American "daughter" Cognitive Pilot. A new legal entity registered in Texas will promote autopilots for combines and tractors in the United States.

Olga Uskova, CEO of Cognitive Pilot, told Vedomosti that first the Cognitive Agro Pilot unmanned agricultural equipment control system will be sold in Kansas, Oklahoma, Ohio and Texas, where such technologies are not licensed. In addition, a Delaware license to sell and operate Cognitive Agro Pilot has been obtained. It is planned to obtain permits and start sales in 11 more leading agricultural states, she said.

Cognitive Pilot opened a company in the United States

Until the end of 2022, Cognitive Pilot planned to export 2,000 Cognitive Agro Pilot systems, 700 to the United States and Canada, the same number to South American countries. The device will cost $11-13 thousand in the United States, and up to $16 thousand in South America. The price depends on duties in the country, the company representative explained.

Cognitive Pilot wants to sell equipment through, and eBay install through, a special center. Deliveries to the United Brazil Argentina States, and will take place from a Russian warehouse, the standard delivery time is 11-23 days.

According to Olga Uskova, the goal of Cognitive Pilot is to occupy 10% of the autopilot market for combines in the United States, Canada and the largest countries of South America in 2022-2027 - for the United States and Canada, this is approximately 30,000 installations. The company expects that in 2023 the share of exports in the revenue of Cognitive Pilot will reach 50%.

According to analysts at ReportLinker, the volume of the American market for unmanned agricultural machinery by 2027 will reach about $200 billion, an increase of almost 9 times compared to 2020 ($23 billion).[1]
