Partner of the online education platform VK

On April 29, 2022, the National Research University "Higher School" economies(NIU) HSE VK and announced strategic cooperation in the region. In online training partnership, the parties plan to launch a platform educational of courses of leading Russian universities.

Start of the undergraduate program "Digital Platforms and Logistics" together with Ozon

The Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg and Ozon became strategic partners. The first step of the partnership will be the implementation of the undergraduate educational program "Digital Platforms and Logistics." The program will be implemented in online format. This was announced on April 27, 2022 by the Higher School of Economics (HSE).

Digital Platforms and Logistics is a bachelor's program that will prepare for new professions in the digital business. It is built on the intersection of subject areas of management, applied mathematics and, computer sciences which will allow its graduates to answer digital challenges economies taking into account business needs and provide the current content of logistics processes.

This is the first online program of the St. Petersburg campus of Vyshka, expanding the line of online programs of the university. Elena Shakina, Dean of the School of Economics and Management of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg, is confident that this innovation will be in great demand in the education market, and Ozon will determine trends not only in the Russian Marketplaces market, but also in the educational market in this area. She believes that students of the program will be those who feel comfortable in the online environment and appreciate the opportunity to get an education at a convenient time in a convenient place and at the same time use early professional experience in the Internet space.

When we were looking for options to create new competencies for current logistics solutions, we found that Ozon and I have a very similar idea of ​ ​ which specialists will be in demand in the near future and for the future. That is why the company acts as our strategic partner, actively participates in the development of the design of the program and conducts its audit, offers educational tools and technological solutions, "said Elena Shakina.

The annual Ozon education module will include lectures, seminars, master classes, business cases and trainings from expert practitioners. A significant part of the educational process will be project activities. Students of the program will be able to practice online, and internship - in Ozon units or in their region.

The active development of the e-commerce sector in recent years has set us the task of training fundamentally new specialists who have cross-functional competencies. Given this task, it is important for us to be closely connected with the educational environment and help them prepare and create specialists of a new level for the future e-com, "said Ksenia Mardanova, head of Ozon internship programs.

Students of the online program will have access to the best teaching resources of the university. Upon completion of their studies, two qualifications will be indicated in their diploma: Management and Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. The skills and competencies gained on the program will allow graduates to take a competitive position in the labor market and cooperate with companies that successfully use digital platforms for doing business. Ozon will also become one of the most important employers for them.
