A new X-ray operating room was opened in City Clinical Hospital No. 1

According to her, the operating room is equipped with modern anesthesiological and resuscitation equipment and systems for monitoring the patient's condition. The new equipment will significantly increase the volume of planned and emergency medical care provided in the hospital due to the fact that the capacity of the operating unit makes it possible to carry out operations around the clock.

The new X-ray operating room will also include operations and specialists from the Department of Surgical Treatment of Complex Heart Rhythm Disorders and Electrical Stimulation of the First Gradskaya. This department carries out more than 600 high-tech surgical interventions per year. Specialists carry out primary implantation and replacement of single-chamber and dual-chamber frequency-adaptive electrocardiostimulators, devices for cardiac resynchronization therapy, radiofrequency ablation of fibrillation and atrial flutter.[1]

Opening of the Rheumatology Center

In early February 2023, three specialized rheumatology centers were opened in Moscow. They earned at the City Clinical Hospital (GKB) No. 1 named after N.I. Pirogov (residents of the Southern Administrative District, South-Western Administrative District, TINAO, Central Administrative District will be treated here), GKB No. 52 (for residents of ZAO, North-Western Administrative District, ZelAO) and the Moscow Clinical Scientific Center named after A.S. Loginov (for residents of VAO, South Administrative Administrative District, SV, SVAO).

In the new centers, patients will be able to receive the necessary medical care within one institution. They can attend an outpatient appointment, diagnostic procedures, as well as undergo treatment in day and 24-hour hospitals.

3 specialized rheumatology centers opened in Moscow

As reported on the website of the mayor of Moscow, earlier Muscovites had to visit several medical institutions in order to receive specialist consultations, undergo research, establish a diagnosis and begin therapy. Rheumatologists did not receive appointments in all polyclinics in the capital. And specialized diagnostics were available only after consulting the rheumatologist of the hospital, to which the patient could not make an appointment on his own. Specific drugs were dispensed in only one pharmacy.

Now, in each clinic, a therapist, suspecting a rheumatological disease in the patient, sends him to one of three rheumatological centers. Here the patient will be accompanied at all stages - from primary admission to therapy and dispensary observation. A pharmacy is located within walking distance of each rheumatology center, where you can get the necessary medicines.

It is noted that the need to create specialized centers is associated with the specificity of rheumatological diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's disease, Bechterev's disease, in which joints, heart, lungs or kidneys often suffer. Such diseases require complex research and selection of therapy, and the success of treatment largely depends on the qualifications of specialists and timely diagnosis.[2]
