2022: Avito bought 62.75% HR Messenger
On December 1, 2022, it became known that Avito bought a Kazakhstani service for job search and HR Messenger employees. Financial and other terms of the transaction were not disclosed. It is only known that the share of the Russian ad platform in HR Messenger will be 62.75%.
The transaction was carried out through the holding structure of the Avito group - Avito Holding LLC. The HR Messenger team remains operationally independent led by CEO and founder Ruslan Abdulganiev.
It is noted that by investing in HR Messenger, Avito Rabota continues to implement a strategy focused on automating hiring and strengthens expertise in chatbot technologies. For Avito Rabota customers, this is an additional opportunity to use an advanced HR Tech product that can interact with candidates in all popular instant messengers.

By the beginning of December 2022, HR Messenger - a service from Kazakhstan - has been on the Russian market for more than three years. The service covers chat bots and voice bots in the hiring process from candidate response to adaptation assistance and reduces the recruiter's routine work by five times, the company says.
Ruslan Abdulganiev, founder of the HR Messenger platform, noted that 78% choose to communicate via WhatsApp, rather than calls and are ready to wait no more than a couple of hours for a response.
2021: Raising $1.2 million in investments from Avito
Avito invested $1.2 million in the HR Messenger recruitment automation service, and also increased its stake in MaxPoster, which develops IT solutions for automated car sales management, to 100%. Read more here.
